Painting the Watch tower

There are a number of ways that you can paint your model. This guide shows you the techniques that we used to paint the Watch tower. These are the items you will need:

  • ACRYLIC PAINTS: For the Watch Tower we used P3 paints from Privateer Press, however similar colours could be used from any brand. The following colors were used to paint the Watch Tower : Bloodtracker Brown, Hammerfall Khaki, Menoth White Highlight, Morrow White, Thamar Black, Bastion Grey and Ironhull Grey.

  • ARTISTS BRUSHES: Small and large.

 

- INSTRUCTIONS -
1. Ensure that all parts are glued together before painting.
2. Paint Ironhull Grey onto the areas shown.
3. Apply a light dabbing of Bastion Grey to grey areas while concentrating at centers to build up a rough texture.
4. Apply a solid coat of Bloodtracker Brown to all the wood areas as shown .
   

5. Mix and apply some Bloodtracker brown with Hammerfall Khaki to light up some areas of the wood as shown..

6. Highlight all wooden edges with Menoth White Highlight and all grey areas with Morrow White
